cocoon

In 2003 if you are tired of your work and need a break to enjoy you would go for a holiday to outside country.
In 2006 if you are tired of your work and need a break you would bring the entire country in your home itself.

This new culture of bringing the whole world in your house is called cocooning. Some of the famous personalities like VJ Cyrus , actor sameer malhotra spend most of their time home after work. They say that pubing and partying is not as relaxing as staying at home and watching movies or playing video games or reading. Cocooning was a trend predicted by American trend forecaster Faith Popcorn. It is typically found among those people who are building safe harbors to avoid uncertainties of the chaotic and dangerous big bad world. This is more prevalent after the 9/11 and many other terrorist attacks. The evidence of this is clearly seen in the reality show BIG BOSS which symbolizes a more glamorous cocoon.
It is said according to yogic art “a man starts from a bindu( home) moves out to search what he needs and then returns back to bindu(home). This is so true for this generation.

17 minutes

I came back home after watching a movie….washed my face and hands wiped it with the curtains of my room. I picked up my mobile phone to switch on the TV….had I gone crazy or those 17 minutes were enough to make me realize about larger issues in life which did not involve my personal problems. A 17 minute film stirs me and left a thought behind. This film talked about Manipur a state in north east India which is still struggling hard for independence from whom???
Our Indian army.

When I logged on in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manipur
Wikipedia. I read the problems of the people
But the problems shown do not give a complete picture rather a false picture.
There are brutal crimes imparted and to justify this I have 3 narrations.

A 17 year old girl was abducted while she was working in the fields by the Indian army men and then was raped and murdered, her body was thrown back in those green fields. To protest this cruel act 12 mothers stood naked in front of the government office for justice. The actions taken by these 12 women created a feeling of rebel in the city and then the entire city was under a protest. They called for a strike.
These women say, “We are naked in our clothes”
Justice is still not given.

A 15 year old boy was kidnapped by the Indian army has still not returned. This disappearance produced a shock in the city but justice still talks like a dead body smiling.

A woman is on a fast to protect the act by the government for almost one year. She has gone for a huger strike which the police names as suicide. in spite of her getting arrested and then returning back home which keeps happening on and off she continues the protest with the help of artificial food supplied through her nostrils.

I hope I have justified it. This is happening in Kashmir as well. I don’t know what I can do as an individual but I know that if this thought spreads like a fire in the forest things can change. Like how things are changing in Jessica lall’s case. If all of us come together for larger issues like this, we can help the people of our country who are fighting their own life guards. I aim on spreading this thought to create at least one spark for AN INDIA WHICH IS NOT INDEPENDENT.

not funny

“Search a name …..Come on quickly quickly.” “This name has to reflect some trait for your personality” “okay relax” I told the wild beast sitting inside me. I call my mind a wild ferocious beast it has the tendency to eat me up, cunning…..hahaha. So I squabbled around with the beast, put my brainstorming head gear and popped up PING PONG. This name is not funny has it may sound to some.
This verb has an effect as strong as hurricane. Since ping pong says, “I move back and forth or transfer rapidly from one locale, job, etc., to another; switch, change rapidly or regularly; shift; bounce”. Ping pong proclaims proudly, “I’ m difficult to come in anybodys hold or control, the illusion my movement mirrors changes my form, lastly it is difficult to decipher my deceptive looks.
So I believe ping pong is not less than a super pingpong woman. I like this trait because somewhere down the line I have been juggling episodes of my life like that. Keeping pace to this fast running time in world where everybody is in a marathon it is quite a task to go on in a steady, fast speed.
Before I go, it wasn’t that difficult to pin the ping pong!!
